The Saraia is a 64 "Motor Cruiser" Surf Charter Mentawai
Saraina was built in 2003 purposely to charter the best waves in the Mentawai islands. In 2022 Saraina underwent a major refit to make it better than ever. Saraina is 19.5 metres in length, she provides a safe and comfortable platform for you and your friends to explore the magnificent Mentawai Islands and their surrounds. Constructed from local Indonesian hard wood, featuring a dark coconut timber interior and powered by a super reliable 360 HP turbo diesel which propels her to a nice cruising speed of 8.5 kts – makes the Saraina perfectly suited for the Mentawai Region.
Saraina has 2 generators on board which provides her with 240v power and has air conditioning through out for extra comfort.
ACCOMMODATION
Saraina contains 9 beds. Our cabin
space is fully air conditioned (with a backup aircon unit for
redundancy) and each bunk is fitted with its own USB and power outlet
for device charging.
Our sweet spot in terms of numbers is private
groups of 6 to 9 surfers. However, two of our beds are bigger and can
accommodate 2 people, so with couples on board our maximum capacity is
actually 11 guests.
ON BOARD DINING
Our talented chef for this season
is Sapar. He creates a mix of delicious Western and Local Indonesian
dishes. Having been on many charters and surf camps as guests ourselves,
we know how important it is to enjoy and be completely satisfied with
each meal you have on a surf trip. With that being said, we work closely
with Sapar when creating trip menus and shopping lists to ensure this
is our guests’ reality on each and every trip.
Our comfortable saloon
is air conditioned throughout and is equipped with:
